The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition that attracts ad agencies, PR firms, graphic design shops, digital strategists and other creative masterminds to submit their best work. More than 5,600 entries were judged in this year’s competition. We earned a Platinum award and four Gold awards across a variety of projects that included web design, application development and web development. Take a look at our winning projects.
Platinum Winner:
iValue Service Inc., for creating a project management system to track job progress

iValue Services came to Alter Imaging in need of a user friendly, non-industry specific web portal to keep track of project flow. Another main objective of the application, was to create a vendor directory that would allow companies to search, locate and engage with vendors specific to their industry, location or that meet special requirements. Through an intense information architecture planning stage, designing a gorgeous and user friendly interface, coupled with our custom development, Alter Imaging was able to deliver iValue Services with an online business application to hit the ground running with.

Tropical Foods, for the Buffalo Nuts microsite

Tropical Foods is food manufacturer, importer and distributor of bulk and packaged snacks and specialty foods. When the launch of their new Buffalo Nuts line was in the works, Alter Imaging helped to design and develop a microsite that would take these seasoned peanuts to the next level. The site allows you to learn more about the original Buffalo Nut flavor and new flavors, specific product and nutrition information, review recipes and link to purchase the product from the main website. While Buffalo Nuts puts a kick in the nuts, we put a kick in their website!
CST Data, for data design and development

CST Data is a privately owned document management company located in Charlotte, NC. CST Data makes it easy to store, search and share critical documents. We wanted to make sure that their website relayed that information. After digging deep into their service set and reviewing the competitive landscape, Alter Imaging strategically developed a website that would easily navigate viewers to the information they were looking for, without being inundated with technical jargon and links of subpages that were irrelevant. With this approach, CST Data can professionally and easily explain their offerings, while connecting with their customers.

Samet Corporation is a premier building construction company. Samet Construction has experience in segments such as multi-unit residential, education, healthcare, mission critical/data centers and real estate development in the Southeast. When we first met with Samet’s team, one of the challenges that they wanted to overcome was being pigeon holed into just one category of services. With the use of custom programming and visually breaking out content throughout the site, we were able to give Samet a new look of their own. The best part about it all is with their Content Management System, they’ll be able to update as new projects are completed.
Concord Hotels, for web design and development

Concord Hospitality Enterprise Company is an award-winning Hotel Management and Hotel Development Company with over 25 years of experience based out of Raleigh, NC. Today they have over 90 hotels in their portfolio and provide management services through thousands of committed associates throughout the US and Canada. With a strong corporate culture and the portfolio and services to back it up, Concord was in need of a website overhaul, and that’s just what we helped them to achieve. Conducting one-on-one interviews with the executive leadership team to craft unique and personalized content was one of the major objectives of this project. In addition, visually organizing and displaying their services and portfolio was another area that Alter Imaging helped to raise the bar on.
